First Fleet - Australia - Pupose of each ship.

This product helps students to identify the purpose of each ship in the first fleet to the success of building a new colony. Each of the 11 ships had a specific cargo and purpose for the colony. Students will be asked questions to illicit responses and answers, further developing their historical knowledge and understanding of the first fleet to Australian shores.
This product includes a cheat sheet for teachers to help illicit best responses from their students and guide students in best response. Each ship contained human cargo for the development of the colony as well as plants and animals to ensure sustainability for the human cargo.
My students loved this activity and it bought about rigorous questioning and higher order responses.
