Description
The first day of school can be overwhelming for teachers! There is SO much we want to share with students, but we also want them to leave excited for the year to come. I have spent the last four years really reflecting on how to create an inclusive, welcoming, informative, exciting, and awesome first day of school in the classroom. This slide deck will include the activities, lessons, and games that I include on the first day. My hope is these slides will leave you feeling less overwhelmed and more excited for the first day of school -- one of my favorite days of the year!
