First Day Slides- Using Memes to go over Classroom Rules

HOW THIS PPT WORKS:

I use this PowerPoint on the very first day of school. I introduce myself to the kiddos, explain how schedule and what we'll learn, and also discuss routines, rules, expectations, etc. My students’ favorite part of this PPT is always the memes! Using these funny memes shows your kiddos that your classroom environment is one that appreciates a little silliness, and allows their first day jitters to relax a bit!

There are five non-editable rules included in this PowerPoint. If you would like to add your own rules and extra memes, there are editable rule slides so you can do so.

*Rule 1- Raise your hand

*Rule 2- Listen and follow directions

*Rule 3- Be respectful to everyone

*Rule 4- Be prepared

*Rule 5- Do your best

(My classroom has more rules than five, but these are our CORE rules.)
