First Contacts & Australian Explorers(2 terms work OUTLINE ONLY)

My store- The Right Stuff, is primarily stocked with units which are used on the Smart Board. They are mostly Smart Notebook files and require you to have this program available to you.

This unit includes 20 lessons and is associated with a Smart Notebook file available for sale in my store. Half of the unit follows the outcomes in the NSW Australian Syllabus- History, for the stage two required : First Contacts. This is followed by a written test for those who require it. The other half of the unit is based on the outcomes for Australian explorers, and includes historical explorers- Captain Cook, Sir Joseph Banks, Ludwig Leichardt, Edward Eyre, Burke and Wills, and more modern explorer Dick Smith in order to keep exploration relevant to today. There is a summary page, and written test addressing the outcomes for Australian explorers from the syllabus directly for those who require it.
Access to Skwirk and the My Place DVDs would be useful, but not absolutely necessary.
