Description

This cookie and cookie jar sight word recognition game is perfect for any time of the year! Included is Fry's First 200 sight words for kindergarten and first grade. There is also a recording sheet included that the students can write the words they match and can read.

Directions:
-Print, laminate, and cut out sight word cards. Print on card stock for longevity.

-Students will match the sight words on the cookie jar to the cookie.

-This activity can be used for small-group, RTI, or literacy centers. It can be differentiated by adding words you want your students to learn, practice, and review.

-For centers: Use in a pocket chart, word works, or sensory bin.
First 100 Fry sight words are printed on blue cookie jars; the next 100 are on purple cookie jars.

-A recording sheet is provided for students to write down the words they match and read. Scented pens, pencil, or markers always add extra fun!

**Print double-sided to save paper or laminate & provide students a dry-erase marker. Don’t have enough time to laminate the recording sheet? Slip it into a communicator or a plastic sheet protector!
