Description

Are you looking for a way to warm up your string orchestra to develop their intonation using finger patterns? This no-prep resource has separate pages for violin, viola, cello, and bass. Playing this in unison reinforces finger placement accuracy and is a great listening activity to help students develop their pitch matching and tuning. This resource is ideal for intermediate level music students.

WHAT’S INCLUDED: There are separate pages for violin/viola, cello, and bass. The cello and bass shift in and out of third position on the D string. The cello’s patterns are differentiated if you wanted students to practice extensions and use open A.

The finger patterns always start with the first finger one whole step above the open string. Once your students have mastered this combination, you could start with the first finger one half step above the open string.
