    Description

A low-prep way to teach and review 6th grade Financial Literacy TEKS for Texas Teachers.

    Included in this Bundle:

    • 4 stations
    • notebook pages
    • exit tickets
    • coloring pages

    Aligned to the 6th grade math Financial Literacy TEKS. 6.14A, 6.14B, 6.14C, 6.14D, 6.14E, 6.14F, 6.14G, 6.14H

There are four stations for students to review financial literacy. The following topics are included: balancing a check register, credit reports, credit and debit cards, and annual salaries.

Students can use the stations Check Register Tic Tac Toe and Calculating Annual Salaries to practice computation and financial literacy.

I would recommend printing the stations on card stock and laminating them for future use. These stations can be done in small groups by students or with a teacher. Answer keys are included.

    Notebook Pages Included:

Comparing Credit Card and Debit Cards

    Credit History and Credit Reports

    Checking Account Features

    Paying for College

    Annual Salaries

The notebook pages include two versions of notes. One with all notes filled in (except the interactive parts) and one with key words left blank so students can actively participate.

The notebook pages have no cutting for students or teachers, only a simple fold. Students could also color as they take notes. I find that students are more engaged when they have something to color.
