Description
No PREP! This spreadsheet filtering activity is for students already familiar with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel. This activity combines computer skills and communication skills as students learn to filter a spreadsheet at the animal shelter. Students become an Internet Adoption Specialist for the animal shelter and filter the spreadsheet in order to answer “email questions” in Google Slides/PowerPoint. After filtering the spreadsheet, students will practice responding to the email to inform the person about the pet/pets in the shelter. This activity does require students to work between two windows as they will be using a Google Sheets/Excel spreadsheet and a Google Slides/PowerPoint “email questions.”
The questions are 100% EDITABLE and includes suggested answer keys. Some answers will be subjective. Student directions for creating the first filter included as a PDF file (NOT EDITABLE).
