Film Studies, Black History Month, Mississippi Burning Film, Movie Guide
Mississippi Burning is an important film for high school students and university students alike. I have taught it many times.
It is loosely based on the FBI investigation into the real-life murders of three civil rights workers in the U.S. state of Mississippi in 1964.
