• Use this as part of your assessment cycle of pretesting, checking for understanding, or post-testing. You may consider allowing students to use their notes for any test.
• Consider enlarging any of the documents at a local printing company or education agency to use as an anchor chart or large group teaching tool.
• Enlarge on a document camera, overhead projector, or interactive whiteboard for whole group instruction.
• Use as part of literacy, reading, or writing centers.
• Use as part of carousel reports.
• Assign specific students or specific groups particular columns, boxes, or rows and then share those with other students or groups.
• Cut apart the document on the lines and use it as a game board. Photographs can be made of these for record keeping and sharing purposes. This can also be sent home as a review, communication, and  sharing tool.
• Print on cardstock and laminate. This allows the document to be used repeatedly by writing on it with dry erase or wet erase markers. Photographs or photocopies can be made of these for record keeping and sharing purposes.
• Use as part of interactive notebooks. Print size may need to be adjusted depending on the size of notebooks used.
• Print each sheet on a different color of paper to easily distinguish it from the others or to assign students to pick up a specific sheet based on needs and preferences.
• Allow learners to use various colors and types of writing utensils to increase engagement and interest.
• Consider the implications and benefits of the use of this sheet with learners of English as an additional language (ELL/ESL/EAL).
