Description

Take a field trip to visit... the dinosaurs! Kids will love this creative adventure to visit some of their favorite prehistoric friends. Engage students and encourage them to present facts they have learned about the climate, landscape, flora and fauna of their favorite period/era.

Description: A hand-drawn creative-thinking worksheet or poster, perfect for creative critical thinking and real-world applications of science. Students are asked to imagine that they are going on a field trip to a particular period/era when dinosaurs roamed the Earth.

  • During what time did their favorite dinosaurs exist?
  • What types of plants and animals would they have seen in addition to popular dinosaurs?
  • What was the climate like?
  • What things would they want to bring for their expedition?

For more fun, the sheet doubles as a coloring page! Increase contrast before printing for a darker background sketch.

*Note: Information added to each box can be adjusted for grade level easily, but this worksheet is a fun way for students of all ages to feel engaged.

Sizing: Includes two files adjusted for two different sized prints (letter size, 210 mm x 279.4 mm) or poster (A3 size, 297 mm x 420 mm). Additionally, I have added a blank worksheet for teachers who want to adjust for a particular curriculum or create their own poster project, but like the fun look of my hand-drawn artwork.
