Feelings and Needs Inventory -working with emotions

I used this assignment when I was teaching a college-level psychology class, but it would be appropriate for middle school or high school as well. It is a four-step process to bring awareness to feelings and needs in regard to an upsetting situation. It ends with a question to generate ideas to meet one's own needs. The assignment's overall goal is to assist students in recognizing their own power in all situations.
