Description
This Bundle includes how in my morning meetings we discuss our feelings and how to deal with them. Many students come with mixed emotions to school and don't know how to identify them. They also do not know how to deal with them. I made these resolution posters to see the different shades of how to deal with our feelings in a productive way and also to let them know they can choose different ways. We are all different, so these are but a few suggestions on how to deal with emotions. These really help my students identify how they can deal with what they feel so they and their friends are ok. Also I use these when students have problems with their peers. We talk about the situation and how that made them feel. Also how they dealt with how they felt and if they could have used a different approach. This helps them to deal with their feelings and also clear up and resolve problems.
Additionally, I still included good feeling that we want to make better. The direction of the pencil shows how we can either deescalate or escalate our feelings.
The number one strategy that my students can use in the classroom setting is breathing. One of my coworkers uses a saying, breath in - smell the flower, breath out, blow the candle. This helps student know how strongly to breath, especially the little ones.
Furthermore it is a language standard for all grade levels and enhanced their vocabulary development. I also helps with social emotional education. I hope this product is as amazingly helpful to you and your students as it is to me and mine.
Bonus included is my peace table worksheet. My students have to fill this out so they can calm down and then we can discuss it. I usually have them draw it out, however if they prefer to write their answers that is also acceptable.
