Feed the Pets Pre-Writing Lines & Shapes Tracing Cards

Practice tracing prewriting lines and shapes with this fun "Feed the Pets" themed packet!

Uniquely designed to be smaller cards, they are perfect for on the go prewriting practice. There are four cards per page and each page is available in color and black & white. Vertical, horizontal, circle, cross, obliques, square, X, and triangle are all covered in this ready to print packet. On each card with multiple lines/shapes there are three opportunities to trace and one to copy.

Ideas for use:

- Laminate and cut out the colored cards. Put them in a pencil box or attach them to a key ring for no prep, on the go prewriting practice. Use a dry erase marker or line up small fine motor manipulatives along the lines. In most cases, start at the food and draw a line to the animal to feed them the treat. For the circle, square, and triangle start at the animal and trace along the lines around the food.

- With the black and white cards, try coloring the pictures first with broken crayons and then trace the lines.
