February Black History African American Month Research Project with Rubric

February is Black History Month! I made this project for my fifth grade class, and they enjoyed creating their posters.

Included is:

- A list of researchable African American achievers categorized by their fields of achievement (science, medical, music, etc.). The list of achievers is gender balanced and includes a mix of contemporary and historical people of importance.

- An example of each objective that students are required to meet to while creating their poster projects.

- A rubric to help guide students and to help you grade the projects.
