This is a bundle for a Farm to Table Spring Semester (20 weeks) course. This Farm to School Course to grow vegetables and herbs on school property creates intrigue in the classroom and appreciation for healthy eating. It is suggested that soil, seeds, and fertilizer all be organic, impressing upon students, “Know from where your food comes.”

The Units and Lesson Planner include guiding questions, additional project ideas, and prompts to check for understanding. Some readings come from Michael Pollan's The Omnivores Dilemma: The Secrets Behind What You Eat, Young Readers Edition (2009). Select pieces of documentaries Food, Inc. (2008) and Fed Up (2014) are included in a few days' lessons.
