Description

**This project is designed for middle school students to research and create either a Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation of a famous mathematician/scientist throughout history. The following are included in this packet:

-- List of possible famous mathematicians/scientists to choose

-- Full and detailed rubric

-- PowerPoint / Slides Requirements (number of slides, content, etc...)

-- Requirements for resources (both book and online form)
-- Penalty for tardy/late or no project by deadline.

-- Whether to work alone or with a partner

-- Listing of possible internet resources (links)

-- Resource sheet

BONUS: "How to Record Your Voice on PowerPoint (Oral/Audio Presentation)... See the "Preview" **

-- This entire project may take around one full week of class time to execute. Trips/periods to the school library and computer lab (1 or 2 days each) would be very beneficial.
