Description

This project is designed to be done in a Foods 2 or Advanced Foods class. I have used this as a final project. The objective of this project is for students to design a restaurant and to create a menu that reflects the them of the restaurant.

Lesson Duration: 4-5 days. The project is lengthy and will take the students some time. The duration of the project will also depend on class time, size and student demographics.

Lesson Plan includes:

  • National FACS Standards
  • Objectives
  • Detailed Project Outline for the students (5 Parts to the project)
  • Grading Rubric for the project
  • Notes to FACS Classroom teacher with my personal recommendations for what has worked for me.
