Description

Fall Treats Counting and Writing Market is a hands on and engaging center to have in your classroom. It’s a great way to incorporate counting 1-20, number recognition, number formation, reading and writing skills. These activities would be perfect for a math center, writing center to introduce writing lists, fast finishers, morning work, activities to complete with a classroom volunteer, dramatic play center, the possibilities are endless.

Fall Treats Market is great for the fall season to practice identifying, counting, and writing numbers 1-20, writing lists, and working together. Print and have students write with pencil or laminate and use over and over.

Your students will LOVE the tasty treats theme! Add a STEM CHALLENGE element by having your students build a fall treats market out of classroom materials like blocks, cubes, cups, or Legos before they count and write!

Please see the PREVIEW above for an idea of everything included.

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
