Description

Color by code activities are an engaging way to give your students practice with their parts of speech. These coloring pages are more than just art. They give students skill based practice, while incorporating art and fine motor skill practice.

Students will read the words printed in each section of the coloring page. Then, they will use the key (found at the top of each page) to color in each section. There are 12 different color by code pages included in this set.

This set includes the following skills:

  • Coloring Page 1 – three noun categories (person, place, thing), two verb categories (past, present), Adjectives
  • Coloring Page 2 – nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns, reflexive pronouns, adverbs
  • Coloring Page 3 – nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns, reflexive pronouns, adverbs
  • Coloring Page 4 – two noun categories (common, proper), verbs, adjectives, pronouns, reflexive pronouns
  • Coloring Page 5 – three noun categories (common, proper, plural), verbs, adjectives
  • Coloring Page 6 – two noun categories (singular, plural), two categories of verbs (present, past), adverbs, adjectives
  • Coloring Page 7 – three noun categories (singular, plural, irregular), three verb categories (present, past, irregular), adjectives, adverbs
  • Coloring Page 8 - three noun categories (singular, plural, irregular), three verb categories (present, past, irregular), adjectives, adverbs
  • Coloring Pages 9-12 are simplified color by code options that include 5 basic parts of speech each: nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns, and adverbs
