Fall Kindergarten Science and Social Studies Unit

NYS Social Studies Common Core Standards and Next Generation Science Standards aligned!

Changes happening in fall and an introduction to seasons and observation are all covered in this 10 day kindergarten Science/Social Studies Unit.

Literacy skills are embedded into the lessons: Non-fiction text, speaking/listening, writing responses.

A compelling question guides the unit and supporting questions help students to focus their knowledge and build to a greater understanding. Students are working on higher level thinking skills and building vocabulary. All activities are appropriate for fall in kindergarten.

This unit was designed and tested by 3 kindergarten teachers. Any and all updates in the future to this unit are included in the cost. Please always check back for updates.
