Fall Adapted Books--"Fall Is On The Way!" and "Moving Through Fall"

These Fall Adapted Books include both music and movement! "Fall Is On The Way," (Adapted Song Book) and "Moving Through Fall" (Movement Book) teach fall themed vocabulary words through both music and movement.

"Fall Is On The Way" is sung to the familiar tune, "Jingle Bells."

Sample Verse:


"Acorns drop.
Pumpkins grow.
Leaves fall to the ground.
Days turn cool--
pick baskets full of apples big and rou--ound!"

Students match the pictures and sing along as the teacher or therapist sings the song and moves through the pages. After the song is complete, students complete in a sorting activity that focuses on classifying fall related objects.

These are fun fall themed activities that work well at the beginning of the school year or during fall themed units.

UPDATE! I have just updated this set to include two books! Also included is a "Movement Book," that focuses on fall themed vocabulary, gross motor skills or motor planning, following directions and imitation skills. I have also included "Movement Cards," that go along with the book.
