Fairy Tale Creative Writing Cloze with Pictures

This file can be used for students to write their own fairy tales. The first page is a fairy tale writing close. Pages 2-17 are clip art images that the students can use as the characters in their story. Pages 18-20 are settings that the students can use. After making copies of the papers for students, here are the steps to follow:
1. Students each choose 1 of the 3 settings.
2. Students choose 3 characters to cut out and glue on their setting: a main character, a villain, and a hero.
3. Students color the setting.
4. Students write their fairy tale. In the first blank, they write about the main character. In the second blank, they write about something evil that the villain did. In the third blank they write what the hero did to save the day.
