What educators are saying

This was great resource for Summer Review. My students were excited to get it because some would not be at Summer School and wanted to practice while on vacation. I like that this resource reviewed things that students were working on throughout our school year. Thank you.
Perfect! I love that this review includes both math & ELA review. Just what I was looking for. Thanks!

Description

This NO PREP summer packet reviews the skills students learned in 5th grade. The goal of this daily summer activity packet is to keep students' skills sharp so they can enter 6th grade ready to learn. I have provided 62 days of daily review with answer keys! Most fourth graders should be able to work on this spiral review independently.

I originally created this resource for my own child. I kept the daily practice pages short and straight forward. The idea was to keep his memory sharp without overwhelming him during break. I wanted him to see that practicing academic skills can be a fairly quick and easy task.

In this resource, the format repeats several times before a new concept is introduced. Only one new area/concept is reviewed at a time while the rest of the worksheet mirrors the format the students have been practicing.

❤️ Why you'll love this resource: ❤️

NO PREP Convenience: Say goodbye to summer prep stress! This packet offers hassle-free daily activities designed to reinforce 5th-grade skills, ensuring your students are summer-ready for 6th grade without any additional planning on your part.

Skill Retention Made Easy: Keep students' academic skills sharp over the break with 62 days of succinct, straightforward review. Each day's practice is carefully crafted to maintain proficiency without overwhelming learners, making it an ideal resource for independent work.

Spiral Review: The format of this resource follows a proven spiral review method, revisiting previously learned concepts multiple times before introducing new material. This ensures thorough comprehension and retention while minimizing cognitive load.

Teacher-Tested Success: Don't just take our word for it! Fellow educators rave about the effectiveness and student engagement of this summer packet. As Jessica R. confirms, it covers all essential 5th-grade skills without overwhelming students, while La Shanda P. highlights its appeal for summer review, even for vacationing students.
