Description
This is the new activity I have created using real data from online sources with regards to Global Warming, Climate Change and Sustainability figures. This is using Excel Spreadsheets, but can be opened with any spreadsheets program / converted to suit.
it is intended as a group research activity in which I would demonstrate how to solve the questions by researching solutions online.
After demonstrating, I get the students to complete it again together in groups in order to get them started.
The students then continue working in groups to solve the problems. This allows me to circle around the class and give help to students in their teams when required.
This is an excellent collaboration and cross-curricular activity that we run with Geography, we finish this unit by completing an info-graphic using our charts and data, that is combined with the research from the Geography class studies. This is entirely optional, and the topic will function on its own.
I have included the solution file, in the case of perhaps you are not familiar with spreadsheets. Each task also has instructions/clues/examples on the page so students are guided somewhat, without giving away the answers.
Have tried and tested this unit throughout this year and very happy with it.

There are many activities on here, with a demo, students working and then wrapping up at the end, it has taken between10-12 1 hour lessons for my students to fully complete (including making their final infographic activity)
