THIS PRODUCT NOW INCLUDES ALL 10 MONTHLY BOXES. IT INCLUDES OVER 110 ACTIVITIES FOR EARLY FINISHERS SPLIT UP BY MONTH/THEME. THIS BUNDLE IS HEAVILY DISCOUNTED. SAVE 20% BY PURCHASING THE BUNDLE! THAT IS LIKE GETTING TWO MONTHS FOR FREE.
Each month includes either 11 or 12 activities for students to choose from. The activities vary from month to month. They mostly include literacy and interactive activities and one math related activity. "LA BOÎTE "J'AI FINI!" is a great solution to the "Madame/Monsieur...J'ai fini..." statements we hear over the course of the day.
The activities come with easy to follow instructions so that students can complete each activity independently. Nothing is stopping you from using some of the activities with your whole class, in your centers, or perhaps even when planning for a supply teacher. They are not limited to early finishers. For example, each box will include a "La phrase du mois" activity. That may be something you decide to do with your whole class. It's really up to you how you decide to use everything in the box, but most importantly, it's there to help you redirect those students who finish work early.
Even though I call this product "La boîte", you may wish you display it in a different way. The front of my box always has a cover page. When the students open the box, they have an instruction page that lists all of the activities included in the box. I photocopied each activity on different coloured paper just to make it easier for students to spot the different activities. I only make 5 copies of each activity because realistically, I know that my students will not get around to completing all of them. I then put each activity in a separate zip up bag just so that the box doesn't get messy and disorganized after a few uses. You can either build a new box for every month, or simply reuse your box the following month by switching out the activities (this is obviously the cheapest option!). The box I use is from Michaels. It is called the Scrapbook Storage Box (or something like that!) and costs $5. The smaller boxes I use to store my task cards are photo boxes (size 4x6) also from Michaels.

The activities are mostly geared towards Grades 3-5, but many of the activities are also suitable for Grade 2 and Grade 6 but I will let you decide if it is suitable for your class' needs based on the preview.
