High Frequency Verb Unit - Super 7 FRENCH present

Start your novice French class with a unit focusing on the Super 7 high frequency verbs in French (est, a, aime, il y a , va, veut & fait). This back-to-school French 1 unit bundle could be used as its own comprehensible input mini-unit over the course of a couple of weeks, or as a class routine that is spread out and done over months. The heart of this unit is personal student interviews, focusing on these 7 verbs. This unit would be a great review for French 2 or French 3 or a back-to-school first unit of the year in French 1 or exploratory middle school French.

This French Super 7 unit includes:

- A possible unit plan lasting up to 2 Weeks

Proficiency Puzzle - for 1st week of class

• The language proficiency puzzle is a must-have for the first week of any World Language class. This back-to-school activity is for World Language students to gain an awareness and begin to distinguish the various world language proficiency levels. It been updated to include a distance learning digital version. It would be a great back-to-school station activity and includes proficiency levels and descriptors for Novice and Intermediate, including interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational. It is a manipulative puzzle, that could be cut out and laminated in advance to use with many classes year after year.
