    Vocabulary lists are included at the bottom of each script so students can personalize their conversations and make them authentic.

    There are two versions of each script: one with English translations and one without. You can choose which is appropriate for your students.

    ACCOMPANYING ASSIGNMENT: Alongside practice time for the oral presentation of the dialogue, students will dig deeper into the dialogue to build skills and confidence in the following areas...

    a) Meaning of words

    b) Cognates

    c) Words from the same word family

    d) Sounds of accented letters and spelling patterns

    e) Vocabulary expansion

    Students will look through the script and find words that fit given descriptions, like finding words that rhyme with given words, finding words with a letter I that makes the EE sound, words that are related to each other (aimer; amour), etc.

    The process of focusing on all of these skills will increase understanding of the meaning of the dialogue, and improve their understanding of spelling/accent patterns that drive French pronunciation.
