FREE! A dance edition of my best selling Picture Chat products!! Picture Chats help students observe and discover pictures. By using picture chats, students look at items, characters and events within a picture.

There is a page of language ideas included to help promote a “chat” about the scene. This includes:

Vocabulary to learn- encourage students to name all objects in the picture scene. A list of words is provided to help prompt the words needed.

Questions- A scene that has a list of ‘Wh’ questions to ask which relate to the picture scene. Included are ‘what’, ‘who’, ‘where’, ‘when’, ‘why’ and ‘How’ questions.

Discussion prompts- these ideas are to encourage further discussion after the picture chat while relating back to the picture and a student own personal experiences.

Your download includes:

★ 1 Picture Chat scene- colour

★ Vocabulary, questions and discussion prompts for each scene

You will need to:

★ Print the picture scene in colour and the question pages in black and white. No prep!

★ Use a display folder to protect the picture scene if you like or laminate

★ OR open the file on a tablet or device that reads PDF documents. I like to display the picture for students to see and have the question pages separate
