Description

FREEBIE ALERT - This is a sampling of one of my best-selling resources. It addresses asking and answering WHEN questions in a fun engaging way. This is just a small way to say thank you for your continued support. It is great for your language therapy sessions, ELA lessons, literacy centers and MUCH MORE! Whether you are serving your students via teletherapy, distance learning, hybrid, or face to face, this FREEBIE is a great addition to your digital toolbox.

To get the COMPLETE Asking and Answering WH Questions unit which addresses who, what, where, when, and why, click HERE.

This NO PREP, NO PRINT FREEBIE helps guide students through the specific words used to ask questions and provides opportunities for guided practice with formulating complete questions. It progresses through the process of answering questions using one word, on to phrases, and ultimately complete detailed sentences. This is a great lesson to introduce to your students during whole group or small group instruction and is also ideal for teletherapy and distance learning. It is complete with learning goals and includes a mini unit for each of the 5 target questions (who, what, where, when, and why).

For students who have a difficult time forming complete sentences in response to questions, it also provides an opportunity to help them explore varying degrees of understanding based on the level of detail provided in their responses. This unit is full-color and displays nicely on interactive whiteboards for whole group instruction or computers, tablets, and speech teletherapy (telepractice) platforms for small group lessons.

NOTE: This FREEBIE is just a sample and focuses on WHEN questions. The COMPLETE GUIDE addresses each of the five WH questions individually (who, what, where, when, and why) with specific examples of the types of answers associated with each question. There are visual representations to provide additional cues as appropriate for your students.

This FREEBIE is a great way to trial out the new TPT EASEL Tool and now includes a TPT EASEL Assessment too! To learn more about how to use this tool, click HERE to view a brief video tutorial.
