Description
A fun music activity for use with You Tube™ or similar program/site for rec & leisure exploration.
This comes with:
- 1 worksheet that asks questions about the song.
- Also includes a simple font version.
- 1 Editable Google Forms™ worksheet (you will be given a link to make a copy to your Google Drive™). From there you can edit, add, delete questions.
- Use the Tpt "Digital Activity" feature to assign these worksheets to be filled out by students on a device through Google Classroom.
Instructions:
- Print & go!
- Think of a classroom appropriate song, then find a lyric music video on YouTube to play on the smart-board or tv.
- After listening to the song, complete the worksheet which includes questions about song title, song artist, word bank genres, word bank song meaning, if the student has heard the song before, and if they liked the song.
Additional Ideas:
- You can make it a weekly activity with voting, graphing, incorporate a bulletin board, compare & contrast, writing prompt....the possibilities are endless! Or, you can just do something as simple as a quick filler activity.

★★ Always make sure to first check with your school/district policy on using Google Forms and identifying student information (such as their name). The forms are editable so you can easily delete the question that asks for a student name & make enough copies for each student without them having to identify their name, or assign student #s or codes instead of a name.
