Description

Looking for a different way to help your students learn and master idioms? This FREE Idioms Activity, a foldable mini book, is fun and easy to use! You will love the ease of prep and your students will enjoy creating and completing their booklet!

This FREEBIE is part of the complete set of Figurative Language Mini Books. Click HERE to see this extra-helpful resource.

This mini book ONLY USES 1 SHEET of paper! Plus, I've provided both Black/White and Color printing options for your convenience!

The packet also includes a photo guide, showing exactly how to assemble the book. NO glue, tape, or scissors required! Just a few folds and cuts of the page, and your booklet is created. It's quite simple!

The Complete Figurative Language Mini Book Collection includes books for:

  • Figurative Language Overview
  • Similes
  • Metaphors
  • Idioms
  • Personification
  • Alliteration
  • Hyperbole
  • Onomatopoeia

In each of the 8 booklets, students are provided with a definition and examples. They are then required to create their own examples, explanations, and illustrations. So, while students are completely engaged and enjoying the activity, they are also gaining a deeper understanding of each form of figurative language.
