Hi my name is Cat!

I am an OCT/certified FDK-12 educator.

I have taught classes from primary through intermediate and developed full curricularly aligned courses and programs.

Since the Ontario school shutdowns due to covid-19, I have been a bit overwhelmed with requests for full daily homeschool programing. I am making this easy to use 5 week program per grade level (FDK-8) with a daily/weekly schedule and clear directives to help all of you who are feeling worried and frustrated about your child's education.

The packages are formatted in parent friendly language and my hope is that they will be easy to follow and use.

I have condensed a lot of the strands to quickly get to the core of their expectations and to help alleviate stress and remind everyone that education is about learning and problem solving. It shouldn't take all day, and it should be fun!

I am doing each grade:

FDK, Grade 1, Grade 2 Grade 3 (primary division grade levels)

Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6 (Junior division grade levels)

Grade 7, Grade 8 (Intermediate division grade levels)

I want to let you know in advance there will be overlap between material I provide within divisional grade levels BUT each grade will be modified to reflect the differing Ontario Curricular Overall & Specific expectations.

So please if you have a kid in grade 1 and one in grade 3 do NOT be surprised by the overlap. It will make your life easier because it will be one lesson that extends up or down in the other package reflecting grade specifics!

Package includes - 5 full weeks of daily plans - package is 85 pages long:

* I worked on these for 48 hours straight to have them ready asap. There is a great chance the grammar on my lessons plans or spelling may be wrong in places. If so, let me know and I will fix it. I was going blind at the end of this and just wanted to get it up to help whoever I could as fast as I could!*

What supplies will I need?

I want to keep this cheap and simple. I have designed this program so you can use what you have on hand. Don't have a printer? Don't print it out. Use any paper you have around, a notebook, or just open a digital word file if you don't have the aforementioned.

If you have pens, crayons, markers, paper, pencils use them. If you don't, talk through the lessons from your phone screen.

Lots of at home recycled materials can be used.

I have done my very best to keep this accessible to all as our situations and access to supplies change during the course of this Virus.

Don't stress if you think you need something you don't have.

Get creative, skip over it. Remember it is the time you are spending with your child teaching them how to problem solve that will benefit them the most!
