FEBRUARY SUB PLANS: 3 Days No Prep Valentine Sub Plans 2nd Grade Emergency

This February resource includes NO PREP sub plans for 3 days! All you need to do is make copies of the pages.

Daily activities for: morning work, reading, writing, math, and science. (I will rotate science and social studies for each month's sub plans, so January and March are science instead of social studies).

Morning work: journal writing prompt, long vowel color by code, word problem math review

Reading/ELA skills: There was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Rose sequencing and retelling, Love Monster sequencing and character traits, nonfiction passages with main idea and details (George Washington and Abraham Lincoln), nouns and verb sorting, comprehension passage and questions, and punctuation

Writing skills: opinion writing, sequential writing, story writing

Math skills: number of the day place value crafts, three digit expanded form, fact families, skip counting by 3s and 5s, graphing, money addition, and subtraction review

Social Studies: Ruby Bridges research passage and graphic organizer, Rosa Parks research passage and graphic organizer, and Martin Luther King, Jr. research passage and graphic organizer

Everything you need for 3 days of sub plans is included in this resource! There are themed activities for Valentine's Day, President's Day, and Black History Month.

This resource is mainly for 2nd grade, but most of the activities can be used or adapted for 1st or 3rd grade.
