Description

My 4th grade son desperately wants to be an agent . . . I think he's an agent of destruction (based on the current state of my living room).

In order to give him some guidance, I created this self-directed web-quest packet so I could attend to my district training and he could figure out what his future career will be.

It is a two-column format: the left hand column includes kid-friendly web links, all of which have been previewed for appropriate content. The right hand side includes fill-in suggestions to keep your agent engaged.

Web content includes activities such as reading, mental games related to detective / problem-solving work, relevant videos, and many, many other activities. One of my favorites (that he hasn't gotten to yet) is a "who dunnit" activity wherein you have to solve the crime.

I was super excited to watch him working through the packet during "school time" and on our #5kaday he excitedly told me details he had learned (real lipstick guns! for real!).
