What educators are saying
I used this to support students expressing their opinions during a Socratic seminar. It is very thorough.
Description
60+ French expressions for use in activities such as discussions and debates as a part of regular oral expression or on a specific topic. The expressions are organized into categories and English translations are provided for each expression.
This 2-page chart gives students the tools to express their opinions, and therefore the confidence to actively participate in discussions and debates.
I photocopy this chart onto coloured paper and encourage my students to bring it with them for their small group discussions and debates. As they progress and become more confident, they can rely less on the actual chart.
Ideal as a:
- reference sheet (study guide)
- binder insert
- forever tool
