This Age of Exploration mini-note and activity bundle is a great day of instruction!

  • The Cloze Notes and PowerPoint are completely interchangeable, depending on teacher preference. Notes can be teacher-driven, student-driven, or both! The notes cover why countries were motivated to commission explorers, advancements in navigation and the routes of key explorers from Portugal, Spain, England and France.

  • After the notes the students create tombstones or wanted posters that detail bot good and bad actions of explorers in their travels!
