Expanding On Our Expressions

Using vocabulary targets to expand on our expressions is something we see in therapy all the time. When learning the parts of speech, it can be easy to say what a noun is, what actions are, where the item is found in the world etc. but it is hard to piece them together into a sentence. Included in this visual support are half page visuals that can be printed individually or placed in a stack with a binder ring. Also included are larger visual prompting circles that can be printed, laminated and adhered to a popsicle stick. During a therapy session hold up the visual on a stick to act as a request for information to expand on an expression with the different parts of speech.
