Every Day Is Earth Day

While Earth Day is officially celebrated in April, in teaching children about the importance of environmental awareness, it is important to teach them that care for the earth is not just a once a year event. I love echo songs, because they are the easiest way to invite a group to sing along. Children immediately feel that they are part of the music-making. This song can be expanded to a whole science lesson about the life cycle of each of the elements mentioned in the song: water, air and earth.
