This product is an activity that has the students role playing. The students are divided up between two English colonies (Jamestown and Plymouth) and the Native American tribes they interacted with (Powhatan and the Wampanoag) .
The lesson comes with a scenario that gives background on each group and a series of questions and steps for each group to follow. The steps for each group a relatively the same. For example: Jamestown and Plymouth will follow the same steps.
This can be done with you as a facilitator or you can have the students complete this independently. There are also resource and skill cards that are given to each group that can be used for trading.
Please feel free to view the preview file for one of the groups.
