How to use this product:

Choose the version that works best for your room, print the posters and display in the front of your classroom as an efficient way to post the objective for each lesson.

Cards can be put on binder rings to allow easy storage, and laminated for durability. Each card shows the lesson number and "I can" objective statement.

To keep organized: Put a hole punch on the top corners and fasten topics together with binder rings. Then, hang from hooks to allow them to be changed quickly.

Blank cards at the end of this document can be laminated and used with dry erase markers to add your own lesson objectives. These are great for adding objectives to reteach a topic or use when giving an assessment

Make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (1/2, 1/4, 1/8). Use operations on fractions for this grade to solve problems involving information presented in line plots. For example, given different measurements of liquid in identical beakers, find the amount of liquid each beaker would contain if the total amount in all the beakers were redistributed equally.
Recognize volume as an attribute of solid figures and understand concepts of volume measurement.
A cube with side length 1 unit, called a “unit cube,” is said to have “one cubic unit” of volume, and can be used to measure volume.
A solid figure which can be packed without gaps or overlaps using 𝘯 unit cubes is said to have a volume of 𝘯 cubic units.
