Description

⭐ Who says ELA test prep needs to be boring? Teen students are invited to compete using clues that practice using test prep vocabulary, including interactive matching synonyms, crossword puzzles, a word maze, and more.This self-checking digital escape room uses NO GOOGLE forms and includes 100 vocabulary flashcards, words with definitions, and 6 games that check for understanding of that vocabulary.

⭐ All tasks are skills-based so that when the escape is complete, your students will have a stronger understanding of vocabulary words. ⭐

The setup: You and your team awake groggily to find yourselves in an otherworldly chamber aboard a mysterious spacecraft.  A holographic projection materializes before you, displaying the visage of Zog, an eccentric alien scientist. "Greetings, puny humans," Zog's voice echoes through the chamber. "You have been chosen as subjects for my latest experiment: the ultimate test of intellect and resourcefulness. Can you outsmart the challenges I have prepared and escape from the clutches of Zorblax-7 in time?"

LOCK #1: THE GREAT HALL - Word Maze

Discern the path within the ceiling pods to successfully navigate through the synonyms to get this code word.

LOCK #2: THE BEDROOM - Compound Word Puzzle

Unravel the hidden meaning concealed within the artwork then use color to decipher the code word.

LOCK #3: THE GARDEN - 20 Word Crossword Puzzle

Solve the crossword puzzle, then use the color code to discover this warning from Zog.


LOCK #4: THE LIVING ROOM - Word Elimination Puzzle

To unravel this latest communication and progress towards your escape, you must adhere to the instructions meticulously.


LOCK #5: THE CONTROL ROOM - Synonym Match

You must match words that share similar meanings (synonyms) to clear the path, then correctly identify a word from the definition.


LOCK #6: THE EXIT CORRIDOR - Couplets Puzzle

Unravel the hidden secrets embedded within the poetic verses.
