Six Puzzles Escape Room

This file contains an escape room with six different cipher puzzles. Students will reinforce their knowledge of a few parts of castles, learning some basic information regarding each of the rooms (The Barbican, The Bailey, The Throne Room, The Keep, The Great Hall, & The Dungeon) while they engage in the material. This escape room, though Castle Themed, is more about educational entertainment.

Each of the rooms has a riddle, which will require students to push their reading comprehension skills, promoting literacy skills along the way.

Each room comes with a code or puzzle, followed by clues in a riddle form - additional hints cards are made for additional support for each room.

Suggestion - to work in small groups between 3 and 5 (no more) allowing for communication skills and difference perspectives.

Can treat this as a full day or so of fun depending on how long it takes, or treat as an engaging hook completing one or two rooms a day to start the class off in a fun, educational, manner.

Designed to ensure very little prep work is required for the teacher - photocopying pages, cutting out some hint cards for each room, otherwise, this is all that is required (would suggest having scissors handy for the decoder wheel but getting students to cut those out during that room to save you time)
