What educators are saying

This is a great resource for helping my students become more confident in their academic and work skills.
These are absolutely amazing! They were able to engage one of my toughest students - he even asked for more of them!!

    Description

This 12-month download includes 192 seasonally-themed errorless task boxes for the ENTIRE year! Once prepped, these compact, hands-on tasks are the perfect way to introduce independent work stations as well as increasing confidence and independence.

You may be wondering... What ARE errorless tasks??

Errorless task boxes are essentially just that: task boxes with no wrong answers.

But why would I want to give my student an errorless task? Are they still learning?

YES!! Errorless task boxes are designed for beginner learners who are starting to acquire independent skills. By eliminating the frustration caused by wrong answers, you can help your student focus on the process of completing tasks.

    Tips for errorless task boxes:

    • Reduce the number of task cards: each individual task box comes with 10 task cards, but starting with a smaller amount is completely acceptable (and recommended!)
    • Model and prompt: these expectations must be taught, so model and prompt when necessary
    • Reinforce often: you will hear me say this time and time again. I use a penny board to reinforce expected behaviors. Beginner students earn pennies for smaller expectations, like sitting in their chair, retrieving the task box from the bin, matching one card, etc.

Updated: I have fixed the task box labels for Letters and Numbers.
