Environmental Science Welcome Survey & Syllabus

Start your environmental or earth science class off right with this environmental science-specific "Welcome to Class Survey," and syllabus. All of the documents are editable so that you can include your name, specific class rules and information, and personal information.

The welcome survey is a great way to get to know your students! It includes questions about their academic goals, environmental science-related topic interests, and hobbies. This will help you create a welcoming classroom environment.

The syllabus is editable and includes places for describing the course, listing required materials, describing class rules, rewards, and consequences, and describing an overall grade breakdown for the course.

A parent/student signature page is also included to ensure that the syllabus has been read. I keep my signature pages in a folder each year, so that if a parent or student comes to me with questions about classroom rules, I can remind them that this information was in the syllabus which they signed.

This welcome survey and syllabus works well for high school or middle school environmental science students.
