    Description

This is a pair-pack of our popular Entrepreneur Project and Shark Tank Worksheets. These resources pair well together for students learning the economic principles of entrepreneurship and business.

In the Entrepreneur Project students come up with their own business idea! The material covers key economic components of what it takes to start a business. The end result is a fun simulation in which groups of students create a fun presentation about their unique good or service. The project works best in groups, but can be assigned individually as well.  Students will: Participate in Warm ups/ Exit tickets, use graphic organizers for arranging their information, and create an informative slideshow as a business pitch to the class (criteria and rubric included). Students get really into it!

The Shark Tank Worksheets contain resources for watching Shark Tank in your classroom. The show is engaging for students and is a fun way to teach economic concepts. The independent viewing guide can be used by individual students as you play an episode. The team viewing guide is interactive and can be used for students working in pairs or groups as they watch an episode. Utilizing the different types of worksheets is a good way to differentiate and switch it up for your students. The resources for vocabulary practice will help students grasp the economic concepts in the episode exchanges. The flash cards are able to be cut out, folded over, and glued so that students have each term with the definition back-to-back like a flashcard. The crossword puzzle can also be used as a fun way to reinforce the words.

Altogether, these resources make economics fun and relevant!
