Description
Now that your students have the basic concepts of endothermic and exothermic reactions down, what should you do next? Imagine helping them solidify and apply their knowledge in an engaging way! In this exciting chemistry STEM challenge, students will demonstrate their understanding of exothermic and endothermic reactions by designing and building a cold pack to help the school nurse.
This endothermic and exothermic project is designed for middle school physical science and STEM students. Students should have some background knowledge on chemical energy and endothermic and exothermic reactions. The project supports mastery of the Next Generation Science Standards, including MS-PS1-6 and MS-ETS1-1.
Grab this resource today to save your planning and prep time, while knowing your students will be learning and engaged in a fun endothermic and exothermic reactions activity!
