What educators are saying

I used this an intro to the Endocrine System with my 6th graders. It was well written and they were able to understand the article with no issues.
I just discovered that I never rated you on all of these fabulous articles. I enjoy using them every year!

Description

**Distance Learning and Remote Learning Appropriate

This article is a great overview, introduction, review or reinforcer about the Endocrine System. The article is written in friendly and engaging language and includes a diagram. The article is a little more than a page long and includes standards-aligned comprehension and analyses questions. I use the article in my body systems unit (7th-grade essential standards). The article can be used for literacy groups, individual DEAR or homework reinforcement.

NGSSMS-LS1-3
Use argument supported by evidence for how the body is a system of interacting subsystems composed of groups of cells. Emphasis is on the conceptual understanding that cells form tissues and tissues form organs specialized for particular body functions. Examples could include the interaction of subsystems within a system and the normal functioning of those systems. Assessment does not include the mechanism of one body system independent of others. Assessment is limited to the circulatory, excretory, digestive, respiratory, muscular, and nervous systems.
