What educators are saying
We end the year with readers theaters and each group gets a different script to act out and make props for. They loved this activity!
Description
This original reader's theater script is a simple four page long "end of the school year" script that correlates with an attached worksheet. The story surrounds a sweet class working on their summer "to do" lists on the last day of school.
There are 14 speaking roles in this reader's theater.
I used this script in my 4th grade homeroom for an end of the year activity, but you certainly could use it with other ages as well. I think it would be ideal for 2nd-5th grade.
My kiddos really enjoy reading scripts and love learning through reader's theater. They really enjoyed filling out the little "To Do List" worksheet that correlates with the story as well. I hope your students enjoy it too!
