What educators are saying

It is a great way to get your students to show what they have learned about lines, while expressing themselves artistically.

Description

Assess your students' knowledge of graphing linear equations while bringing out their creativity. Students are allowed to graph anything they want as long as they follow the rules provided. I used this project with my 8th graders (of all math-ability levels) after teaching graphing linear equations using slope and y-intercept. Students will practice graphing equations with positive slope, negative slope, zero slope and no slope. They will also reinforce recognizing patterns for each type of linear equation.

The complete set includes:
-Student directions (both pdf and in EDITABLE form)
-Teacher directions/suggestions
-Grading Rubric
-Six student finished products you can use as examples
-Sample for teacher use
